How it works

From raw ore to certified gold.

We use a modern carbon-in-leach (CIL) process — the globally accepted alternative to mercury — recovering 85–92% of contained gold under NEMA-compliant conditions, with a certified assay lab at the centre of it all.

The leaching process

Seven steps, fully controlled

Ore acquisition

Gold-bearing ore is purchased from local artisanal miners at transparent, spot-linked rates — giving producers a fair, reliable buyer.

Crushing & milling

Ore is crushed and milled into a fine powder — jaw crusher then ball mill — to expose the gold particles for recovery.

Leaching (CIL)

The milled ore enters a 6–8 tank carbon-in-leach cascade for 24–48 hours, where the gold dissolves into solution.Carbon-in-leach

Carbon adsorption

Granular activated carbon adsorbs the dissolved gold directly from the leach solution.

Electrowinning

Gold is stripped from the loaded carbon and recovered onto cathodes (Zadra / AARL elution).

Smelting

The recovered gold is induction-smelted into doré bars, ready for assay, sale or onward refining.

Detox & recycling

NEMA-compliant cyanide detoxification (INCO SO₂/air) and water recycling close the loop — a zero-discharge operation.NEMA-compliant

Why carbon-in-leach

More gold, far less harm


Mercury amalgamation — still used by most artisanal operators in Nyatike — leaves most of the gold behind and contaminates people and water. CIL is the better answer on every measure.

Carbon-in-leach (our method)

High recovery under controlled, NEMA-compliant conditions, with cyanide detoxified and water recycled before anything leaves the site.

40–60%

Mercury amalgamation

Low recovery and serious, well-documented contamination risk to people and to water sources such as the River Kuja.

Certified testing

An assay laboratory the market can trust.

No certified lab currently operates within Nyatike Constituency. Ours issues formal, stamped certificates — the trust infrastructure the corridor has always lacked.

We offer fire assay, atomic-absorption spectroscopy (AAS) and density testing, with turnaround from one to 48 hours depending on method. Certified results let miners prove what their gold is really worth — and let buyers act with confidence.
